A little tight, but thankfully for me there were cancellations so it wasn't crowded. Friendly people. It's right off the creek and that was super cool because we had a tent site and those are the sites right off the river.
I have no idea what these "One Star" people are talking about. My wife and I stayed here for one month last spring, and we LOVED IT!! We knew from doing some research that the place was compact, but there was plenty of room for our slide-outs, awnings, the PROVIDED picnic table and chairs, and they even provide a Chiminea!! I mean, how cool is that?? We arrived at 9 o'clock at night (it's pitch dark at that time in the spring), and Rick came out and helped us park. He is a very pleasant fellow who is at work CONSTANTLY doing improvements!! He was out at 9AM on EASTER MORNING pouring concrete at one of the sites!! You should see the "Small House" he just built!! Amazing!! Anyway, the stay was awesome, the rates were great, and everybody there (it was FULL when we were there...which means they are doing things RIGHT!) was completely pleasant and happy. It was like we all of a sudden had our own little community, and everybody was very pleased to be there! There was always smiling, and waving, and it was EVERYONE!! We'll be back!! Sincerely, Porter and Jan Landrum, Hoover, AL
A nice little campground. The owner is nice and helpful. The sites are a good size. The restrooms are clean. I really like the doggie area. It is close to all the Pigeon Forge activities. The prices are average for the area. They are part of Passport America so you can camp for half price if you are a member.
Over all, it's a nice campground. Nice concrete slabs, full hook up and a little bistro table and chairs. Down falls: there are a lot of camp sites for the amount of property they have. Its a little snug. The bath house is dark, and in need of a professional to come clean up and redo the DIY improvements someone did. The biggest problem is the 30 amp service. We were here for two nights and popped the brakes 7+ times. We had everything off omitting the single (13,000 - 15,000 BTU AC which is standard standard) AC. We have a newer travel trailer with led lights. After coming back to a very HOT camper, I did some more checking to see why our 30 amp was popping and discovered our electric water heater was on. I ran the AC and electric water heater at every single other park we have been to this month and didn't have any issues. There are some other parks a little(5 min) east of this one that looked nice. They have a pool and a little splash pad for the little ones. you We will try those other parks out next time we are through this area. Hope this helps.
This is one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at. People friendly and dog friendly. Great dog park. Its small but very nice and a good money rate. Owners are AWESOME
