The food is awesome! The stuffing and sweet potato crunch was a 10 for me! Hunter was a awesome server as well! The show has a lot of acrobatic activities and the nativity scene was my favorite! Really enjoyed the overall experience and will definitely be attending this dinner show again!
Absolutely horrible experience getting into dining area. They pack you in like sardines and herd you like cattle all in an effort to get you to spend more money on all their extras: the obligatory photo opp, souvenir shop, memorabilia drinks & cup. When you finally get seated, it doesn't stop there, they continue to try to squeeze more money out of you by selling flags so you can root for your "team" or side. The choreography for the first half of the show is almost pathetic. This would be a one star experience except for the fact that the performers are very talented and the show did last for almost an hour and a half. The food was fine, but most of us mainly go for the show. In the end there are just too many negatives to be able to recommend this show to others.
We were told by the waiter when we arrived that this show was better than the Lumber Jack show. So, so disappointed!!
We were very disappointed in this show as we have been to many of Dollys dinner shows and some of the others not ran by Dolly. The price was way over priced for what we felt we received. Not interested in attending this show again unless a lot of changes are made.
The small piece of ham I received was good as was the sweet potato souffle.
We wish we had went to the Hatfield and McCoy dinner show.
First time at any pigeon forge show and we had an absolutely fabulous time! From the pre show activities (come 1 hour early, you will want to get a drink, play a game, visit the shop, etc) the delicious meal that was served by our waiter, and all the dancing, singing, acrobatic tricks and laughter it was just a top night. The Christmas show was definitely a delight and I wouldn't second guess going back again, very worth the money.
As most of the reviews state, there was no story line. A lot of acrobatic acts. Food was not that great. Soggy chicken, lots of onions in the dressing a croissant pie with some fruit in it you could not hardly taste the fruit. The waiter ran out of soup at my bowl said he would be back because the three people on my right did not get any at all. It really did take a while to get the rest of the soup but he wasn't the person who brought the rest of the soup back out.
This was SO much fun! If you enjoy cirque shows then you will like this. While waiting to enter the main hall we browsed through the store and listened to trivia but were at the door when they announced they were opening the doors. We sat in the front row almost dead center so we got to see everything. The food was good, nothing fancy, but very comforting and I left full. The show was great!! You have the main story with the cirque style competitions, which sometimes include dogs, and then the comedy relief character who did a great job. I didn't know much about Dolly before this trip but man I have such a great love and respect for her! I shot mostly video so I have few photos but we will definitely be back!!
