Awesome experience. Was there on Friday evening to purchase a jacket for my husband to wear to our daughter's wedding. They even matched the sales price I showed them online. We had my husband's hat cleaned and shaped and my husband was very pleased. We had such great experience I went back on Saturday with my niece and purchased a pair of boots for her to wear to the same wedding. We love the store, selection and the customer service we have received. We will go back! The fact they are closed on Sunday so if their employees want to attend church they can makes me love Stages West even more.
We've been coming here for close to 20 years. They always have a great selection of quality clothes, boots, hats and accessories at reasonable prices. And the staff CANNOT BE beat. Always friendly and helpful, but never pushy.
I would leave a zero star just on high priced item made where? Oh yes you have it china, honduras, etc. I wasn't able to find any American made boots at all. The boots i seen where city slicker dress boots. Kids boots are just as much as adults. Not impressed at all other than decor which is why i left 2 stars.
Whilst on holiday from England in September, we have visited Pigeon forge before and purchased boots before, but this time I wanted an ankle boot western style I saw the boots I liked but went to other stores just to check if I saw anything else. I eventually came back to Stages West but when I tried the boot on I liked I couldn't get it on as I have a high instep. the lady took the boot away came back and it fitted like a glove so she did the same to the other. I asked her what she did and she explained great I now wear them in England and everyone admires them tremendously. Great service Oh and my husband bought 2 belts as well.
Worst HIGH pressure sales I've ever experienced. These sales ladies, who talked a mile a minute, were all absolutely hounding my wife and ELEVEN year old daughter who were both in the market for boots. I actually had to ask the sales lady who was ALL OVER MY DAUGHTER for some space. After 10 minutes, I'd had enough and we all walked out... It was uncomfortable and very rude. We bought boots elsewhere. Beautiful store, great selection, but TERRIBLE service and sales tactics. Apparently a common complaint here. Too bad, it could be a really great place otherwise.
