My 2 experiences were both really good. I spoke to the owner and also his employee. Both very helpful and friendly. Also, willing to help me find what I was looking for, and accommodating on the price. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in the area. Don't listen to the negative posts. Go see for yourself and you be the judge.
So here's the deal, I walked in really wanting to love this place. Nice big store seemed like a ton of product. Then I started wandering. Owner wanted to help me find something. When I walk in a card shop I'm not looking for anything in particular. I'm just looking for something to catch my eye. He tried like heck to get info out of me but I wanted to just wander. Things I noticed: lack of new product and a bunch of junk wax (88-92) for sale. Only new product was in box form $200+, and A&G not even sure if it was this year. Their singles were decently priced and the store was laid out well, but I have to assume they make most their money on online sales and gullible out of owners willing to pay big bucks to say they bought something. Overall just skip. I'm kind of sad to say that too.
The Dugout is an awesome place to visit and get pieces for your collection. The owner and staff are super friendly. I scored an amazing Tim Tebow autograph custom figure at a great price. I look forward to my next visit!! My kids love it to!!
Owner was working, and he is a super friendly and cool guy to talk to. He knows his stuff, has a large selection of merchandise, and is fair/willing to negotiate on the price of merchandise. I will definitely be stopping by here every time I am in pigeon forge.
