Went on this ride with myself, my husband, my sister in law, my son and niece both aged 5. Went to the weighing station the man there gave us our seat assignments, with me my husband and sister in law sitting in the back and my son and niece sitting in the front. We thought this was weird because there should be an adult behind each young child but the man said this is where we must sit. Get into the ride and the first curve my son begins to fly off, he could barley hold on as the log flew on its side, my sister in law had to jump over her daughter to grab and hold on to my son leaving my son with bruising. This was the scariest moment as a mother not being able to do anything to protect my child. I am a very small women I could have easily sat between my son and niece but the employee sat us in a way that our child was not protected. I would not ride this with young children.
Love the walk up, also I love the speed and big payoff when you reach the ride.
The ride itself is fun, but I don't like the way they do seating. If you don't know the person behind you, it's awkward to have to lean on them.
It's such a fun ride! But be sure you don't rock the boat too much cause you may have an accident. I went on this once with some guy who kept trying to take the turns very dangerously. The watchtower employees called him out so he stopped. Good stuff overall and there is a chance you'll get wet.
Great ride but the walk up is long.
