Great place to have your belongings stolen! Twice in one year our unit was burglarized and locked as if they were coming back for more. Cameras are fake. Rarely is the gate actually locked. Management, nor police, seem to care that theft is an ongoing problem with this storage facility.
Do not use this storage facility. I was told my belonging were secure and cameras were there. I find out the cameras don't work when my unit was robbed. They are fake and there is no electricity to even wire them in. They advertise the gates are locked at dusk however we just left at 11pm and they are wide open. I lost everything of value and they say call the police. I did. However that doesn't bring my things back. Some not replaceable. My grandmas things. They were in there long enough to go thru every single box we had packed and even stole my daughters custom made hope chest. I have video and photos. Proof they do not secure their buildings. The people who did this even cut our lock off and replaced it with an identical lock that my key wouldn't fit. Dropped off a load on July 2nd and my lock was fine. Left and came back to drop off another load on July 3rd and my key didn't work. Called Mike and told him. He said well it sounds like someone changed your lock so they could steal your stuff. Shocked I said well can you bring some bolt cutters down here to check my unit. Well Mike calls the owner because Mike's leg is broken and the owner who has bolt cutters is in Johnson City and won't be back til later. So I asked what time and he tells me around 9pm. I tell him to call when he is on his way and he says ok. The next day after no call or anything, we have someone meet us there with bolt cutters to find my unit ransacked and anything valuable gone. My daughter's custom made hope chest with Rylee burned on it, guitars, tv, all our electronics, av equipment, and gaming systems, my deceased mammaws stemware, toys, remote control cars, and the list goes on. I could write my losses for hours But it won't bring my stuff back. Be warned....this place false advertises and your possessions ARE NOT secured. Absolutely beyond disgusted!!!
