We were the first ones in the restaurant and then it got fairly busy. Everyone after us kept getting their food and we still hadn't gotten ours. Waited about 45 mins before we said anything apparently they lost our ticket or something and said it'd be another 5mins. We waited another 10 or 15 before my husband went up again and asked it they had anything we could get to eat right now since we were all starving and had been waiting over an hour. They said they would bring breadsticks. Another few minutes later they brought he bread and pizza to the table. I am a little disappointed that we had to ask for something, they should have offered to give us something or discount our pizza or something. The pizza itself was ok but had way too much sauce and not enough cheese. I was really excited to try this place it looked so cool but was really disappointed with both the pizza and the service. The ppl working were all nice and friendly tho.
A tourist trap. they charge you for EVERYTHING, including water. Want shredded cheddar cheese instead of shaved parmesan on your $7 salad? Get ready to pay another $2.50 on top of it. So always ask your cashier what you're paying for, cuz they won't just tell you that. And food is not even as good as at their main location on the parkway.
Could use a little more attention to cleanliness but aside from this I enjoyed my visit here much more than the location further up on Parkway, where our server proceeded to ignore us for 20 minutes following getting our drinks. Was impressed with the efficiency of the place. Beer was a tad warm. And to anyone complaining about the price, it's the same price as other Mellow Mushrooms....
After our woefully inadequate sausage from Poynor's we needed a drink. We stopped at Dude's outside Mellow Mushroom. They have daiquiris, beers on tap and a full bar for mixed drinks. It wasn't very busy and the bartender was very friendly. We hung out for a while and had a really good time. If you are up for a drink head to Dude's and get a lady leg souvenir cup full of some special concoction. Recommended
Worst pizza my family has had. We were on vacation from Michigan and heard your pizza was great. The pizza was tough, and crust was burnt. It was cold in restaurant, loud music, and not the cleanest. Cashier not friendly, wasn't helpful. The only reason I gave a 1 is for the soda therre were free refills. We spent around $65 with tip, wish we never went there, waste of our hard earned money. We were hungry, it was getting late. The island was busy, only place with no waiting, we now know why. We went on Thursday, October 19th.
