My husband and I had dinner here for our first wedding anniversary. We had an awesome time, the staff was very friendly and the food was great. I had the ribeye, and was honestly the best steak I've ever had my husband had the chicken pizza and it was delicious. The only complaint I would have is that I wished they had complimentary bread.
Had such a good experience here, we came back later in the day for round 2 (and stayed till closing!). Beer was delicious and very affordable. Cherokee Red was my favorite. Ordered several plates of wings with many sauces. Waitstaff were friendly and attentive (even when kicking us out!). We loved it!
This has been one of my favorite places for over 12 years. Always enjoyed the Cherokee Red and the Black Bear. However, something has changed in the last few months. The beer is sub-standard, to say the least, and management seems to be a "cluster"! Stopped in this afternoon, ordered potato skins and a 3 beer sampler. Found ONE of the beers that was passable. Ordered a pint and drank most of it, slowly, still no skins. Asked the waitress and she went to check. Said they would be ready soon. Finally brought them, said be careful, they are right out if the oven. Actually, they were barely warm. The waitress was tending bar and waiting tables and doing the best she could, while there were 8 or 9 other employees BSing, playing with their phones and waiting the tables not being serviced by the girl tending bar. And it was not busy! This is not the way it used to be! Hope they get their act together soon, it's a great place.
Beer was decent, but the pint glasses were plastic. Food was good. Happy hour pricing was only available in the bar area. Although the place was empty, we weren't seated in the bar area. When I asked about happy hour, we had to move two tables over to get the pricing. I would have given an extra star if they didn't have the gimmicky happy hour and plastic glasses.
Very poor customer service. Called in and order for takeout. I ordered a double order of BONELESS wings. After I picked up the order, I didn’t realize the order was BONE IN wings until I got home 20 minutes later. I then drove another 20 minutes back out into town to get my original order. Staff was apologetic and let me keep the original order along with the correct one. Fast forward a month, I called in the exact same order and before heading home and the order was wrong again. The same mistake had been made. Had to wait another 25 minutes for them to remake my order. The food is very good but the attention to detail and customer service on to-go orders needs to be addressed ASAP. This is a major inconvenience to people that call in orders!
