We got a griddle for half price because we were lucky enough to be there that week it was on sale. The staff is very knowledgeable on the products they have and when I was purchasing a second hand 2 qt pot, the cashier informed me that the brand knew one is on sale for a little bit cheaper if you'd like to switch it. (YES SIR I WOULD! ) haha.
This is the place to stop for your cast iron needs. They also have a flyer to get a 10 1/4 " second hand (factory rejected pans due to minor things like a ding or the logo didn't come out right) for 5 bucks when you buy 10 dollars. Which isn't hard to do there. They have a lot of nice stuff and its a major deal when things are on sale as well. Items there are already reasonable priced.
I knew they would have a great selection of cast iron pan. I was surprised by how many other interesting kitchen items they carried. They helped us knock out the last few gifts on our Christmas list. They had a coupon for a free pan with over a $50 dollar purchase. We didn't have one, but asked for it and they nicely have it to us.
It is a nice store filled with lodge items. When you walk in they explain how the prices are lower than their catalog, which is in turn lower than retail. Seemed legit, so I bought a couple things. Later that I went to the local Wal-Mart and saw the same pan for less. So when they say "lower than retail" I guess they mean "lower than Macy's" They had a "scratch and dent" section with even lower prices, which really are lower than retail. The selection is very good as well -- it is mostly cast iron, which I assume you will already be expecting.
We got a lot of cooking items for our camper. And we've already used the griddle. Breakfast never tasted so good!
Not the lowest prices but a combo of it's in my hand and I want it. Always a few more items you want to take with you.
Better than the factory store in south pittsburg TN. Great selection and prices. Surprisingly well stocked considering you would think it was a tourist trap. Better selection than the other outlet up the road.
