The cabin itself is cute! The location is perfect! One cabin away from the pool, walk across the street to Hard Rock or Wonder Works. Really, it seems that these issues could be solved with better management (ie: respond to calls/emails in a timely manner AND follow-up) and much better cleaning
I have stayed at cabin 20 which is called "Moosin Around", several times, now. I cannot say enough about how much I LOVE THIS PLACE! It is beautifully appointed and clean and well kept. The owners also decorate the cabin for Holidays! The kids will LOVE the air hockey table and the parents will enjoy relaxing in the hot tub! The view was the best we have seen. Close to everything and easy access with paved roads which are not too scary.
I have stayed at the one bedroom and two bedroom cabins on the mountain right behind the Dodgen office. The cabins have always been very clean and neat. They have an awesome view over the city, especially at night when you can see all the lights. The management is always very professional and gracious. They have always been very easy to deal with. We look forward to returning!
Also, the mattresses are horrible! Hard as a rock and the egg crate topper that was put on it is now paper thin and does nothing but bunch up and cause even more discomfort.
I always stay here, because I have had some bad experiences around gatlinburg with cleanliness an customer service and that is a big reason why I always come back to Dodgen cabins. They never disappoint me!
Saturday morning we called again and they sent maintaince while we were out who said that it was 70 degrees when he arrived and there was nothing wrong. By the time we arrived back that evening it was 80degrees again so it was another miserable hot night!
We have rented about 3 times now. Even got married here at pigeon forge Dodgen Cabins. We have had very good experiences. Always clean, and in great shape. Customer service has always been great occasionally they're busy but they're always nice.
We have rented several cabins off and on for 20 years from Dodgen. We have only once had an issue with the AC at one of the rentals. It took a few hours for maintenance to arrive but they came the same day after 6pm. The staff have always been helpful and friendly. We have always enjoyed every cabin rental and the cabins have always been clean. I would say the Office is ran efficiently it just doesn't have all the frills of some other places but they get the job done none the less. If you love a great view and semi-privacy cabin 334 Gamp's Cub house is an Awesome cabin. Breath taking views and we even had a visit from a Black Bear on one of our stays.
The cabin was dirty! My toddlers found pills on the floor when we arrived and I'm so thankful we saw them before they went in their mouth. The hot tub was too dirty to use and a thick layer of dust covered every tabletop. It was 80degrees inside when we arrived on Friday. By 10:30pm it was still 80 and calls to the office were not answered.
