Everyone should go check this place out for sure. It has it's price but that is to be expected for something like this. The fountain is really cool at night. We went after Thanksgiving so all the Christmas decorations were out. The restaurants are good but expect a long wait. Luckily there are a ton of shops to browse. I think most places forgo a buzzer now and text you when your table is ready, making it easy to move around and shop while you are there. Neat novelty shops along with the practical ones. There is something for everyone here to kill time. A real fun place with a good vibe.
This is a fun place for kids. Lots of rides and things to see. The Ferris wheel is super cool. Everything is a little pricey but it’s to be expected in tourist town like this. Walking my around and people watching is free.
I really loved the Island. The light shows were simply amazing. The view from the Farris wheel was also pretty nice. If the light show or Farris was not your idea of fun there was also shopping and such. It was a really wonderful experience and we will be visiting the Island again! Can't wait to see another amazing light show!
Park off site and take the free tram if the walk seems too long. My only complaint is the choice of dining. We have tried 2 places and both experiences were terrible. The shops are interesting. You can find some cocktails. There’s plenty of people to watch. Just go somewhere else for dinner.
There's something for everyone here. Great restaurants, moonshine tasting, rides and activities for the kids and plenty of shopping opportunities. The magic shop is a great stop for the kids.
We had a great time. Even with it being 32 degrees outside. The lights were fabulous. The fountain dancing to the music was so pretty. A nice stroll enjoying the sights and time with family. It was my favorite because once you parked you can get out of the car and traffic and enjoy a lot of places.
Once you park you either walk into the park or take the trolley. If you have small children and are bringing a stroller keep in mind that the trolley isn't really built for strollers so you may want to walk.
