Hotel room was nice to me. It was clean and was good for what we wanted to do. We mostly use the room to sleep in at are not extremely picky about small details. The one thing I was kind of disappointed in was the breakfast area. I don't expect a lot from a continental breakfast but this one was not great to me. Other than that I really have no real complaints.
Honestly, the ONLY descent part about our stay here is that my kids enjoyed the pool. However, the pool looks much bigger in the pictures than it actually is. We asked for extra towels & were told the only way we could get them is if we brought the dirty towels to them. Isn't that what housekeeping is for? The people at the desk were unfriendly & rude. Other guests were given extra towels without question, so I feel like they are discriminating against us because we are a same sex couple with kids. I've never been to a hotel that doesn't have maintenance or housekeeping during the evening or night. I don't know, but I'll never visit here again. I'm glad we're only here for 1 night.
Dead bugs on the ceiling, in the curtains and inside the control panel for the air conditioning. Our microwave didn't work, the cord had been cut maybe? The carpet was so dirty it stained my socks. It was cheap but that was the only good thing about it. We will never stay here again.
Do not waste your money. There is no doubt the positive reviews are written by the staff of this hotel. We checked in, the hotel smelled unclean, the lady at the check in desk was non-receptive and was not cordial. There is a reason there is a big sign saying “NO REFUNDS” on the front desk, because if they allowed them, they would never make money. We got up to our room after traveling in an elevator with etchings of “GR hearts PL” or whatnot that the building couldn’t be bothered to fix or repair. We got up to the room and it was musty and smelled like dirty feet. The “jacuzzi tub” was very large and spacious and would have been perfect for two people until we saw the uncleaned filter. There were cracked pieces missing out of the tub exterior. The bedsheets were put on inside out and the TV was screwed to the platform it was on and we were unable to move it. There was cheap, plastic lawn furniture on the balcony and the “view” was directly into a delapidated tree. Upon further inspection, there was what we were 95% sure was blood on the wall. We took the penalty for cancelling after staying one night and got out of there. This place is a joke. Don’t ruin your trip by putting up with these “amenities.”
Great view. Easy access decent breakfast but elevator is slow. Oh and there is a nice fishing spot directly behind it for trout and small mouth
