Food quality was pretty good for a buffet. Nice selection. Our waitress was very friendly and kept our drinks filled the entire time. Price is fair.

I struggled with how many stars to give this place based on our visit. The food was exactly what I expect from Golden Corral. It's good (not amazing), and there are a lot of things to choose from. I love making chocolate covered pineapples for dessert, and the Bourbon Street Chicken is reliably delicious. They put out a brand new tray of Bourbon Chicken just as I got to it, so that was a plus!
I have to mention how clean this restaurant was. I was impressed. Next vacation we will eat here again for sure.
Awesome dining experience. The food was fresh and cooked perfect. I had steak which was so tender I didn't really need a knife.
Our waiter Josh was great. We never ran out of drinks and he kept the table clean and was very polite.
We had a good experience at Golden Corral. The food was fresh and hot and we had no complaints. This Golden Corral has a wide variety of vegetables, meats, salads, and also a very great selection of desserts. It appears that lots of people eat here and that keeps the food bars fresh and hot.
Would have given a five. Food was excellent...... no complaints about the food. The staff very loud... tossing dishes around. Behind there station... I made mention to the gentleman.. he apologized.... then 2 min later crash.. into bottom of cart again. Then he said that's the way we do it here Sr... I eat at the one in Myrtle Beach at least 2 times a month. Never hear crashing dishes. Hope it helps.. fix the noise problem.
The most disappointing part of our experience was upon arrival. I called as we were driving to see if there was a long wait - almost everyone had a long wait the entire time we were in Pigeon Forge. I was told there was no wait at all! Wow! We made a beeline for Golden Corral, but when we entered the restaurant 5 minutes later, there was a 30-minute wait. I find it very hard to believe they went from no wait to 30 minutes in 5 minutes, so I feel like I was deceived. That is the reason they went from 4 stars for pretty good food and very good service inside, to 3 stars because I would have chosen another restaurant had I known I would have to stand in line for 30 minutes. (I would have gone to the Pottery Cafe, where the food is magnificent. The wait there was 45 minutes, but I could browse nearby shops or sit in the courtyard instead of standing in line.)
